Keeping watch on the UK's 2015 Government
Governments get away with a lot simply because people forget. This site helps you remember.
The site comprises two main ingredients - a timeline of significant government statements/policies/actions/protests and a selection of informed comment & analysis. The objective is to help cut through the political spin and present independent and critical opinions, taken from a range of media but mainly from the UK's leading quality newspapers. A Discussion Forum can be accessed from the Home menu option. Anyone can join. ( Offensive material will be removed without notice.) Readers are invited to email article links from their favourite paper. The selection of articles may appear somewhat biased but as the government benefits from the support of a disproportionate majority of the UK press, a site that is decidedly critical will go some small way to redress the balance.
